Protein. Let’s talk about the supplement you always hear about inside and outside of the gym. It seems to be the supplement everyone uses most, but is it really all it’s cracked up to be? Does protein actually work? What does it do? Lifting is important, but what’s even more important is your diet. If you want to maximize your gains in the gym, then you need to be eating the right meals. Not just any meal, you need to be eating meals for weight lifters (yes they exist). Once you get your diet in sync with your lifting, you will see a noticeable difference in your results. Who doesn’t want awesome results? If you’re going to do something, do it right. Don’t half ass it. What’s the point in that? Eating right isn’t just good for gaining muscle, it’s just plain healthy. So, you’ve joined the gym and you are going a few times per week but have absolutely no idea what to do. You probably feel overwhelmed and out of place. A lot of people ask me: “Brodie, is there a way for me to stay motivated in the gym?”.

The funny part is they act like I don’t lose my motivation to workout sometimes. We all do. It’s hard to stay consistent, but that’s what separates those that succeed at transforming their bodies and those who don’t.

You may be motivated right now, but the time will come when you feel your motivation starts to slip. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.
